4Life employees assembled 500 hygiene kits for the event. Other community sponsors included DISCOVER® card, Little Ceasars®, Salt Lake Community College, Toys for Tots, Red Robin, Malouf, Care Cuts, Wing Stop®, U.S Novelty, Jumpolines Party Rentals, life of the party entertainment, Friends for Sight, My Kid’s Entertainment, operation warm®, and Best Seat in the House.
Each child received $250 to spend at Kohls. Before and after shopping, they were greeted by princesses and action heroes in full regalia. 4Life employees accompanied children throughout their shopping experience. Foundation 4Life then gave them a hygiene kit. The kids also received haircuts and dental exams. The West Valley Fire Department was onsite with a ladder truck.
Jenna Lisonbee: “At Foundation 4Life, we’ve been proud participants of this Shop-A-Thon for years. It aligns seamlessly with our overall mission of alleviating childhood poverty. This program addresses and resolves real problems among students in need in our community.”
