Health Sciences Advisory Board Annual Retreat

Health Sciences Advisory Board Annual Retreat
Salt Lake City (August 11, 2025) Last week, the company’s Health Sciences Advisory Board (HSAB) convened for its annual retreat. The event took place at the Westgate Resort in Park City, Utah.

4Life’s HSAB is an international group of scientists, researchers, doctors, and academics whose expert contributions the company uses for 4Life Transfer Factor product development and the advancement of the immune system sciences. This year, the HSAB collaborated on R&D’s recent discovery of transfer factors in the plant kingdom.

Chief Scientific Officer Dr. David Vollmer: “These retreats allow us to elaborate on cutting-edge immune system innovations. This year, our attention was consumed by our isolation of the protein peptide transfer factor in the brassica napus seed and what this monumental discovery means for next-generation product development.”

The company validates its science-backed products with academic research. 4Life’s R&D team continually develops 4Life’s intellectual property in collaboration with the HSAB, which includes proprietary transfer factor peptide ingredient development, efficacy studies, future advancements of immune system nutraceutical manufacturing, patentable qualities of molecular compositions, and more.

In attendance were doctors, immunologists, molecular biologists, and nutrition scientists from around the world: Marco Ruggiero, MD, PhD; Joyce Irobi, PhD; Elena Enioutina, MD, PhD; Andrew Keech, PhD; Mei-Ling Sui-Caldera, MD, PhD; Ty Hopkins, PhD, ATC; and Em Capito, LCSW, MBA, E-RYT, CMT.

4Life Senior Vice President of Research and Development Brent Vaughan, PhD, RD and Senior Manager of Labs Anna Andersen were also in attendance.

4Life, The Immune System Company®, and the first to bring transfer factor research to market, has offices in dozens of countries to serve the company’s worldwide customers.
